Thursday, October 07, 2004 New wave. Much rather, old wave, perhaps the most bastardized music era of our time. Yeah, next to the advent of boy band music. Thanks to mainstream local FM and their DJs. Music snub? Hell yeah, absolutely. The extreme purist, hyphenated, anything-but type, way back when there was pretty much a point to it.Hang the DJ, Mr. Morrisey? I concur. Anyhoo, here's my very own top10-ish list, some of which, unfortunately, were not spared the local FM DJs' fingers of doom. Again, not in order...
